Mr. Andrew Yam is a plastic and hand surgery consultant practicing at Singapore General Hospital and KK Women's & Children's Hospital. He graduated from Flinders University in 1997 and subsequently pursued surgical training, obtaining the MRCS (Edinburgh) in 2003. Specializing in Hand Surgery since 2007, Mr. Yam has amassed over 20 years of experience in this field.His areas of special interest include Hand Surgery, Brachial Plexus, Peripheral Nerve Surgery, and Spasticity. He does many volunteer services in pediatric practice. 

Mr. Yam has significantly contributed to the field through numerous research papers on nerve surgeries. Since 2019, he has served as the Director of the Peripheral Nerve and Paralytic Upper Limb Service.

In addition to his clinical and research roles, Mr. Yam is dedicated to teaching. He actively engages with plastic surgery trainees in Singapore and has also contributed to hand surgery services in Sri Lanka, sharing his extensive knowledge and experience over the last couple of years.
