Dr. Kolitha Karunadasa

Dr. Kolitha Karunadasa is a renowned consultant 

plastic surgeon based in Sri Lanka. He is widely 

recognized for his expertise in hand surgery and the 

reconstruction of the lower limb following traumatic 

injuries. Dr. Karunadasa is particularly interested in 

performing perineal reconstructions using flaps, especially after cancer resections. His skills 

extend to complex procedures such as parotidectomy and facial nerve reanimation. Beyond his 

work in the public sector, Dr. Karunadasa is also active in the private sector and maintains a 

practice in aesthetic surgery in Colombo.

He is interested in training medical students attached to the Faculty of Medicine, University of 

Kalaniya, and in training plastic surgery senior trainees.
